What is Welcome to Mama’s about?
Amy (Melanie Scrofano) inherits a restaurant in Brooklyn after “Mama” (Lorraine Bracco), the owner and Amy’s dear friend, unexpectedly passes away. Amy, who is trained as a restaurant manager, teams up with a charming but slightly egotistical chef named Frank (Daniel di Tomasso), who is looking for a second chance. They hope to honor Mama by relaunching the restaurant for the community that loves it—and her—so much. Despite Amy and Frank’s differences both personally and professionally, they discover that the most important ingredient is love.

Melanie Scrofano (Amy)

Daniel di Tomasso (Frank)
Prior to delving into acting, Daniel di Tomasso was an international male model, posing for the likes of Armani and L’Oreal. Lorraine Bracco (Mama)
Lorraine Bracco modeled in France and began appearing in Italian language films during the ’80s. Her first English-language film was in The Pick-Up Artist opposite Molly Ringwald and Robert Downey Jr. She is probably best recognized for her turn in Goodfellas where she received Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations.
