The Princess of Wales looks holiday-ready in images shared by Kensington Palace on Sunday wearing her “Aurora Ballerina Dress” from Needle & Thread. Catherine wore the festive number, which currently retails for $719, to a reception at Buckingham Palace back in January of 2020. The cherry red design features long sleeves, tulle adorned with sequins and was “inspired by a vintage lace tablecloth,” per Needle & Thread. The new photos of Kate wearing the sparkling dress in front of a Christmas tree were released ahead of the 2022 Together At Christmas carol service, which is being filmed Dec. 15 at London’s Westminster Abbey. “Join us this Christmas Eve for a very special service at Westminster Abbey, full of festive carols and beautiful performances, as we celebrate what makes this the most wonderful time of year,” Kate said in a promo for the service, according to PEOPLE. The upcoming service will be part of Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, a special program narrated by Catherine Zeta-Jones that will air Christmas Eve on ITV1. This year’s carol service is dedicated to Kate’s late grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth. Members of the royal family, including King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla, will be in attendance. Prince William, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville and Kadeena Cox are set to deliver readings at the service, while there will be musical performances by Craig David, Alexis French and Samantha Barks, in addition to a duet from Alfie Boe and Melanie C. According to Kensington Palace, the service “will recognise the selfless efforts of individuals, families and communities across the UK, and celebrate and showcase the joy that human connection and togetherness can bring.” Next, These Fairytale-Worthy Royal Weddings Will Make You Swoon In Real Life
