King Charles III’s sister Princess Anne earned the title again this year, according to U.K. digital marketing agency Reboot, who is said to have analyzed entries on the Court Circular, which is the official record of past royal engagements. Queen Elizabeth’s daughter, 72, carried out a whopping 214 royal engagements in 2022. Anne had 33 more engagements than her older brother, Charles, who came in second place. The King is followed by Prince Edward in third with 143 engagements and Sophie, Countess of Wessex in fourth with 138. Prince William and Kate Middleton also cracked the top 10. Prince William snagged fifth place with 126 engagements and Kate ninth place with 90. Meanwhile, Queen Consort Camilla took sixth place, the Duke of Gloucester seventh, the Duchess of Gloucester eighth, and the Duke of Kent tenth. Anne took home the crown last year with 387 engagements, according to the Mail Online. The Princess Royal made history this year by becoming the first woman to take part in the Vigil of the Princes. She and her brothers, Charles, Edward and Prince Andrew, held a vigil as their mother’s coffin laid in state at St Giles’ Cathedral and later at Westminster Hall. Following the death of her mother in September, Anne said in a statement, “I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest Mother’s life. It has been an honor and a privilege to accompany her on her final journeys. Witnessing the love and respect shown by so many on these journeys has been both humbling and uplifting. We will all share unique memories. I offer my thanks to each and everyone who share our sense of loss.” The Princess Royal continued, “We may have been reminded how much of her presence and contribution to our national identity we took for granted. I am also so grateful for the support and understanding offered to my dear brother Charles as he accepts the added responsibilities of The Monarch. To my mother, The Queen, thank you.” Next, Everything We Know So Far About King Charles III’s Coronation
